It is with deep sadness that the Fellows, President, and Staff of the College of Physicians of Philadelphia note the passing of Dr. Charles T. Lee, Jr.
Dr. Lee was a distinguished Fellow of the College for 60 years, having been inducted into the Fellowship in 1957.
During that time, he served as President of the College (1998 to 2000) and also served as a Trustee. Dr. Lee chaired numerous committees, including the Investment, Finance, and Development committees, and was a member of our Sections on Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Medicine and the Arts, and Medical History for several years.
His years of service stand as a model of dedication to the Mission of the College: to advance the cause of health while upholding the ideals and heritage of medicine. His portrait hangs in the Executive Office, reminding us on a daily basis of all he contributed to this institution.
Dr. Lee will be profoundly missed.
