Historical Happy Hour: Invisible Labor at the Pennsylvania Hospital
Grab yourself a quarantini and join us for a VIRTUAL Historical Happy Hour!
About this Event:
This talk will highlight Pennsylvania Hospital's new exhibition “Nursing Excellence at the Pennsylvania Hospital” with emphasis on the earliest nurses, their roles at the Hospital, and their employment mobility, as well as the inclusion of other invisible laborers at the Pennsylvania Hospital. This is an on- going project that grew out of our Conservation Management Plan, exploring the stories of women and people of color in the Pennsylvania Hospital’s early history.
