The Section on Critical Care (formerly known as the The Philip Drinker Society)  is hosting its second event of the academic year with a talk by Dr. Jacqueline S. Urtecho, MD.

Paroxysmal Sympathetic Hyperactivity (PSH) is a common complication of severe brain injury most often associated with trauma.  However, this syndrome can also be found in a number of other conditions.  This talk will help practitioners recognize the signs/symptoms and provide them with a treatment algorithm to help minimize the complications.

We welcome all members of the critical care team and those interested in critical care to join us.  The evening will begin with drinks at 6 pm and our program and dinner at 630. We hope to see you there!

**Trainees, please purchase the $10 College Student ticket.
