The Section on Medicine, Ethics, and the Law was established in 1994 to encourage dialogue and educate physicians, lawyers, ethicists, and the public on important and timely issues at the intersection of these three disciplines.

Most programs are open to the public. Section members receive invitations to members-only programs and have the unique opportunity to network with colleagues from diverse disciplines and across institutions.
